01

Project Overview

A working product shaped around a practical need.

Question answeredWhat is this project and whom is it intended to help?

The Beef Systems Analyzer is a decision-support tool developed by the University of Kentucky Beef Extension Team with funding from the Kentucky Agriculture Development Fund. The project uses logic-based modeling to help beef producers evaluate their management and marketing practices by guiding them through a structured series of questions. Based on the responses, the analyzer identifies the most critical management changes needed to improve farm efficiency, productivity, profitability, and safety. Each recommendation is supported with practical educational resources, including videos and fact sheets, enabling producers to confidently implement best practices within their operations.
